Published Materials and Public Recognition of Those Folks That Have Helped
Steve Jackson Game's GURPS:Traveller Loren Wiseman & SJG - My sincerest thanks for giving me a shot at commercially producing artwork for the best genre ever created, and one that I dearly love!! "Far Trader" - I'm still trying to dig up all of the names in old e-mail of the folks on the TML that sent me scans of the Marava while I rushed to complete her before the deadline. When / If I can compile an exact list of names, they'll be posted here. "First In" - Same here. I have to research all my old archives to find the names of folks that contributed to the "Sulieman Survey". A very special thanks go out to Mark Cook for giving me access to the raw Scout logos that he created so that I could include them on the ship's hulls for my illustrations. "Alien Races 2: Aslan & K'Kree" - Thanks to Andy Akins for supplying me with the deckplans that he did for the Aslan ships included in the book. Apologies as well (see the Gallery) for screwing them up a bit. Thanks also go to Andy for his critique and comments of the Aslan & K'kree ships that I created for the book. "Starports" - Though it's not out yet, I have to give a HUGE amount of thanks (and all you TML'ers should too!) to Derek Stanley for his continuing critique and suggestions for my progress on the "Starports" cover, and for some killer ideas for internal illustrations in this book as well. Andy Akins was invaluable in providing his 2D designs for me to transpose into the 3rd dimension. I also need to thank Michael Vaillencourt (please correct my spelling!!), and Andy & Sara Lilly of BITS for sending in pictures for me to composite into the scene. Thanks also to my buddies Bryan Bennett, Evans Pang, Tim Dougherty, and Pete Gotcher for the same. "GURPS:Space, 3rd Edition" - Thanks go out to William Barnett Lewis for providing me with a pristine copy of GDW's "Fighting Ships of the Shattered Imperium". I was quite shocked and extremely pleased when he sent me the real book instead of the photocopies I thought I was getting. The BL-15 is shown in several shots in G:S 3rd, and I wouldnt' have had that subject to model without William's help. It will also come in VERY handy for "Navy". Thanks again dude! "Spacedogs" - A BITS adventure module. This is actually my first PUBLISHED cover, beating the cover I did for "Starports" to the stands by several months. Glad I could help Andy!
And a VERY BIG general thanks to ALL of the TML'ers and individuals who have sent / posted their comments and critiques about my artwork. You folks KICK ASS! Without the support of you guys & gals I doubt that I'd continue as much as I have and am planning on for the future. Stay Tuned!!! I'm only sorry I'm not independantly wealthy so I could spend MORE time doing Traveller stuff. Damn having to have a real job anyway :) |
